Angelina Cook for Board of Supervisors Siskiyou County District 1

Vote Angelina Cook for Siskiyou County Supervisor, District 1 on March 5, 2024.

Represent common interests in local government.

Siskiyou County is an amazing place to live, and we’re all caretakers of a tremendous natural heritage.

For many decades, however, rural communities in Northern California have been dominated by private interests that seek to exploit natural resources for private gain at the expense of communities and the environment. Trickle-down politics has eroded trust in government, broadened economic disparity, and has enabled degradation of a blessed inheritance.

It is the job of government to uphold public health and safety, which entails protecting the environment and delivering vital services to underserved populations. In order for Siskiyou County to adapt to new conditions in the 21st century, we need officials who have a more positive outlook on government. We don’t need more regulations, politicians or bureaucracy. We need genuine public servants who are willing and able to improve fiscal responsibility and operational effectiveness, while preserving the commons.

As your representative, I will step up delivery of public services in disadvantaged communities, strengthen enforcement of laws that protect the Public Trust, and prioritize the interests of current residents, including Tribes, small business owners, family farmers, foresters, teachers, healthcare providers, entrepreneurs, recreation outfitters, and underfunded agencies.

If you are a resident of District 1 Siskiyou County – Montague, Dorris, Tulelake, Macdoel, Tennant, Big Springs, Copco, Hornbrook or McCloud – please VOTE Angelina Cook for Supervisor in the upcoming Primary Election on March 5, 2024. And encourage your neighbors to vote, too!
